Did you know that we have more than 20 flamenco dance teachers in DC? I'm working on some article ideas that will help dancers get to know the local teachers better and help you choose the one that's right for you. Stay tuned!

Dancer Kayoko Iwamoto and family are moving back to Japan next week. Come to Cafe Citron this Monday August 16th to say farewell.

Dancer Ginette Perea is on vacation this week. There will be a substitute dancer at Andalucia tonight.

Guitarist Ayman Fanous will be performing flamenco-based improvisations at Jammin Java this Tuesday August 17th.

Andalucia's restaurant manager, Monica Serrano celebrates her birthday this week. She and her mother Maria have presented a weekly flamenco show at their restaurant for seven years straight! Thank you Monica and Happy Birthday!
