We got them to get up onstage for Sevillanas and they had such a great time they promised to come back again this Monday. Welcome to Citron! Jaleo Crystal City October 10, 2004 It's official! The new branch of the Jaleo chain is now open. Located at 2250-A Crystal Dr in Arlington (two blocks from Crystal City metro). Call 703-413-8181. Sevillanas shows on Sunday nights. (The Tuesday night Sevillanas show at Jaleo Bethesda has been cancelled.)

Thanks to tour manager Rafael Kotcherha for coordinating the after-party with the artists and big thanks to producer Kim Akhtar for making the concert at Lisner a reality! Thanks for the Lisner staff (Marketing Associate Carl Graci in particular) for putting up with me almost everyday. And finally a pat on the back for Miguelito for quickly getting the word out to the DC flamenco community and promoting this last-minute concert appearance by Rafael de Utrera.

In the meantime, visit Rafael's website at www.rafaeldeutrera.com Fells Point Festival October 3, 2004 This is the second time I've been invited to perform at the Fells Point Festival in Baltimore with Natalia Monteleon's Arte Flamenco. This was the first time Baltimore-based dancer Tamara Sol Flys was invited to perform with this dance troupe.
