As expected, there was a good turnout that you can see in the photos. In fact, I heard that someone came all the way from Pennsylvania to attend. School show at Andalucía Restaurant November 19, 2003 For years I did flamenco lecture-demonstrations in the Washington Performing Arts Society's Concerts in the Schools Program with Spanish Dance Theatre, Ziva's Spanish Dance Ensemble and Danza del Río. We had a lot of tough crowds, but the experience helped me gain confidence and skill in giving presentations to young people. Nowadays, instead of me going to the schools, the schools come to one of the venues where I perform: the Andalucia Restaurant.
