SPECIAL: early morning walk in Rosslyn/Georgetown

April 12, 2005

One of my regular visitors commented on how I make Washington DC look beautiful through my photos so here's a photo blog entry of shots of DC. Enjoy!

I just happened to wake up early (by my standards) this morning. I stopped by the Starbucks down the street from me but it was swamped with office people so I decided to walk across the Key Bridge to visit the branch in Georgetown.

Rosslyn. You can tell it's early (or late) in the day cuz the shadows are long. April 12, 2005 7:38am

As I looked around, I realized there were only a few seats and tables. But they have an unmarked door that I noticed only because a customer walked through it...

The quiet coffee lounge. Nice! April 12, 2005 8:05am

I found myself a comfy chair, sipped my tall soy caramel macchiato and read the paper for an hour or so as I listened to coffee lounge music courtesy of XM radio, caught up on current events and headed back home.

If my website is my "job" then this is my "coffee break." Ahhh...life is good! :)
