My brother, Kevin, stopped by Citron for the first time to catch my show. He brought along members of my family who were also first-timers to Citron. Being the visual artist that he is, Kevin experimented with taking non-flash pictures to capture the natural colors.

Thyme Square Cafe May 21, 2004

They've started up again the series of art show parties at Thyme Square Cafe in Bethesda. Last year I performed with various dancers at these parties that featured works by local visual artists. Here's a link to a Thyme Square show I did with dancer Sandra Bishop.

This was Gerard's last performance before leaving for Spain. He'll be gone for about two weeks while he does flamenco-related research.

New York trip May 15, 2004

It's been a while since I took a fun trip to New York. So I went up with dancer Ginette and her mother to show them around the flamenco "sights."

First stop was Fazil's Rehearsal Studio to take a dance class or two. These are some of the performer/teacher photos decorating the wall in the waiting room. May 15, 2004 1:35pm

Looking at the class bulletin board Ginette decided to take the class taught by Dionisia Garcia. May 15, 2004 1:43pm

While we were waiting for Dionisia's class to start. I looked down the hall at Jose Molina's class. I have pics of yours truly accompanying Dionisia's class coming soon. In the meantime, a few passersby recognized me and even recognized Ginette too. No doubt that even New York flamencos checkout my website! May 15, 2004 1:56pm
