Philly flamenco Anna Rubio sent me this info about the First Pena Flamenca: Two sets of traditional cuadro style flamenco, featuring the music of flamenco guitarist from Spain, Tito Rubio, master percussionist Joseph Tayoun and guitarist Carlos Revollar, with dancers Anna Rubio, Liliana Ruiz, Mariah del Chico and singer Antonia Arias. Open sevillanas dancing between sets, second set will finish with bulerias jam session....bring your guitar and your dancing shoes! Let's come together to create......THE FIRST PHILADELPHIA PEŅA FLAMENCA. $20.00 admission, cash only at the door, includes Italian style antipasti by DiNardo's of South Philly. Cash Bar.
