This is from an email I received yesterday:

Hey Mike,

it is xxxx AKA xxxx xxxx. Why aren't the local pro's performing at the Sala Rociera? It is very intimidating to perform infront of your peers and teachers anyway--regardless if the local pros perform. I loved watching each person performing, share their talent at the first Sala Rociera students and professionals. You learn from watching the various styles. Sara Candela's was amazing that night with her tangos and her singing. Edwin as always was powerful and fun at the same time--not to mention a great host and organizer for the event. Ramin and Aleksey dazzled us with a few moves. Each dancer taught me something that night.

I think there should be no restriction on who performs that night. We are all a community and should share in each other's success and ability to express the art form capitivating our hearts. Sorry just expressing my opinion. I think who ever feels moved should get up and dance--even you!

By the way if you put any of this on your site please don't put my name
with this email. And, actually I was just venting a bit and curious to
see what your take is on my opinion.

Take care,

xxxx xxxx Promoter for Freedom of Flamenco Expression (ha! Ha!)
